On Sunday 6 October, a staggering number of runners and spectators boarded trains to Cardiff for the 21st edition of the Cardiff Half Marathon.

The week-long celebration of all things Cymraeg is coming to Pontypridd. This year’s Eisteddfod Genedlaethol is situated in Transport for Wales’ home town and is set to bring the communities of Wales together through a festival of arts and culture.

Today is Changing Places Awareness Day and we’re pleased to announce that we’ve installed new Changing Place Toilets across the network making travel more accessible and comfortable for everyone.

We’ve now introduced over 60 of our brand new trains to service – over 40% of the final total. More and more of our services are being operated by new trains, and this will continue to increase over the rest of this year.
