28 Mar 2024

An adventure is what Easter weekend is all about and Pembrokeshire offers much more than just stunning beaches; lace up your shoes and explore the magnificent Preseli Mountains!

Lace Up and Go:

Preseli offers a haven for walkers of all levels. From gentle family-friendly strolls to challenging climbs, there's a trail waiting to be conquered.

Download the GoJauntly app and map your route today.

There are so many walks that you’re almost certain to find something to suit you!

Here are some ideas to get you motivated:

  • At less than a mile in length, Foel Eryr is the shortest walk in the Preseli. This is certainly the best walk for you if you’re after fantastic views, without having to work too hard.
  • Foel Drygarn is just around a mile and a half of walking to reach the trig point (who doesn’t love a trig point selfie?) with also fantastic views to be enjoyed.

Feeling adventurous and want to extend the walk? You can catch the TrawsCymru T5 bus to Eglwyswrw and walk 4miles to the trig point.

  • The highest peak in the Preseli hills is Foel Cwmcerwyn. The walk to the peak is not the easiest, with an elevation gain of around 300 meters in 2 miles, but it’s totally worth it!

Whether you start or end your walk at Rosebush why not take in some history and explore the remains of Rosebush Station which closed permanently to passengers in 1937.
