Transport for Wales and Network Rail is urging passengers travelling in south Wales to plan ahead with a programme of essential railway improvements taking place over three weekends this autumn.
Passengers across the South Wales Valleys are being encouraged to check before they travel on Sunday 27 September, as essential South Wales Metro upgrades will affect rail services.
From Sunday 6 September Transport for Wales passengers travelling on TrawsCymru T8 route connecting Corwen, Ruthin, Mold and Chester will benefit from later evening journeys, new Sunday service and a simplified fares structure.
Railway stations across Wales are set to benefit from a £1 million investment introducing brand new Help Points at 48 different locations, giving passengers access to live travel support and real-time information.
