Located in Wrexham, the new unit will employ a total of 30 staff by 2019, with ten expected to be in post in 2018.

Recruitment for the new team is underway, with public and stakeholder engagement, rail services, technical and project management, administrative and facilities management roles on offer.

Interested applicants can learn more at forthcoming recruitment events to be held in North Wales during the summer.  The first of these events is an informal drop-in session to take place on 26 July, between 4-7pm at the Catrin Finch Centre, Glyndwr University.

The team in North Wales will lead on TfW’s engagement in the region, employing local knowledge to build a joined-up transport strategy for Wales.

TfW’s presence in North Wales has grown delivering key projects such as Deeside Parkway, a key part of the North East Wales metro vision.
