Tickets and timetables for Transport for Wales (TfW) new TaithCymru coach service connecting North and South-West Wales are now live.
Operated by Edwards Coaches in partnership with Llew Jones, TaithCymru will operate nine return trips every day between Bangor and Carmarthen with one late night journey each day extending to Holyhead railway station and Port.
Journeys will take between 4 hours 45 minutes and 5 hours, saving up to an hour compared to current public transport alternatives, helping customers travel for work, education, healthcare, leisure and visits to family and friends.
Timetables have been aligned with rail services, TrawsCymru and local bus services.
To encourage passengers to try the new coach service, TfW has introduced promotional adult single fares, which are available until January 2027:
- Bangor to Aberystwyth: £7
- Bangor to Carmarthen: £10
- Holyhead to Bangor: £4
