It can be tempting to use the car for short journeys but it’s time to dust off your helmet and hop on your bike. Cycling is a great way to save money, look after the environment and also your well-being.

Some of our train services also offer on-board bicycle spaces so you can travel even further by bike.

Download the TfW app to reserve your bike space when you purchase your ticket.

Buying a ticket without a railcard

Perhaps it’s one of those things you were meant to look into in 2023 and let it slide… Let 2024 be the year you save on travel fares. There are a number of railcards available which allow you to travel for a discounted rate across the network - the perfect excuse to book more trips by train in 2024.

We offer TfW exclusive railcards, including the Heart of Wales railcard and the Cambrian railcard just to name a few. National railcards are also available so there are even more opportunities to save on your next rail adventure.

Visit our railcards page to find out more about the offers which you can take advantage of. Don’t forget, you’ll need to present your railcard along with a valid ticket whilst travelling.
